Time is getting short....How do I know
 

It�s been along time coming, the collapse that is. A common statement that I read on many threads here is : �Well I thought that the end was years ago, and nothing happened. No one can predict when it will come. It could come 1, 5 10, 15 years from now. No one knows�. I beg to differ. How do I know we are getting close? Because, not only for all the external signs, but I am not that far in front of the �main stream� anymore. I started storing food back in the 80�s, started buying silver back in the early 90�s, and started earnest preparations in the mid 90�s. That included converting my electric house to propane, installing a Trace 2048 UPS inverter, and a 15,000 watt generator. From 2000 until now basically fill the holes here and there with more food, meds, ammo, barter stuff, etc�

My point again is�..I�m not that far ahead of the �main stream� anymore. Instead of years ahead, now I�m a year in front tops. I�m not saying that the masses are going to prep to the extent that many here have, but the masses are now catching on to the things us �gloom and doomers� have been saying for years now. It seems that the length of time for us WTSHTF vets to react to an identified future event, and the blossoming of the event, or at least the event hitting main stream, is narrowing (kind of compressing). Soon I fear that the time for reaction will be compress to nothing, and our reactions will be happening in real time. Many here have a pretty good nose to important things that are years ahead of the �main stream�. Read some of the older posts of Barnacle Bob, some of HT�s old stuff� that stuff is happening now! The stuff that we are discussing now�.I guarantee will not take years to come true�.It�s months now�.catch my drift? Time is getting short! :smokin:

Ponce let me tell you I used to cook for an upscale resteraunt, I speak German, spanish and some Chinese, I canput in stiches, run an IV, Forage for wild food, shoot a gun, make soap from ashes and animal fat. I know herbal medicine, homeopathy, I can do minor auto work, I sew at a professional leavel, knit, crochet, spin, I can make pottery, sculpture, I paint, garden, LOL. Just too poor to get my own bug out space.:bawling: But far from alone, my family totals 7 people.

To me it seems like its getting close, but unlike a lot of people here I really don't have anything to compare it too. I am young and I have only been here for like 2 months. So its hard to tell if it looks bad because I am better informed, or if its actually getting worse.

To me it seems like we are already in a slow moving drop and we are only waiting for a trigger to cause it to crash. And what is scary is that there are so many possible triggers right now. Even if you don't factor in the unknown stuff, the known stuff is pretty scary.

I noticed that too. We seem to be about nine months ahead of the sheep on this forum.

Nine months ago this forum was just starting to really wake up. Now survival/collapse is a common thread.

Today I got an email from my sheep sister, she is just starting to wake up...

HAHa 我的孩子讲一些汉语. Its so true nessicity is the mother of invention. Iam sewing everyone sleeping bags with wool batting that will be warmer than any sleeping bag you could buy, I just dried some egg plant and zuccini yesterday (in my oven which i bigger than any dehydrater that I could afford), LOL, now if I could just learn to spell.:rolleyes:

I'm not clear whether the difference is time or intensity.

The pole shift could expose earth to enough sunspot activity to shut down everything electronic. The war machines would not fly or crawl. Actually, just the knowledge that you have NOW means YOU HAVE ALREADY WON THE LOTTERY.

Having money is way overblown. Yes it purchases goods. And some people can put that to good use. BUT if you are aware of what's coming and are attempting to prepare, you are so far ahead of the curve that when 'whatever' happens, everyone else will view you and yours with 'envious' eyes.
